This one day course will cover:

  • Establishing 100-yard “Hunter’s Offset Zero” for 200- or 300-yard zero
  • Moving quickly from full-carry mode to different shooting positions
  • Effective shooting positions for the individual hunter
  • Shooting accurately from different positions
  • Selecting hides and overlook positions for prolonged periods and shooting accuracy
  • Holdovers or come-ups out to the maximum ethical and practical hunting range
  • Spotting for another hunter
  • Loading and gear for a quiet hike
  • Shooting apps and field data cards for hunters
  • The effects of altitude and temperature on trajectory and range
  • Glassing and spotting
  • Tracking and route selection
